Feature

Delete the cookie banner. Keep the insights.

Cookie consent banners annoy visitors, slow down your site, and cost you money (consent management platforms charge ₹5,000–15,000/month). NeuTarget proves you don't need cookies to get accurate, actionable analytics. Our daily-rotating visitor hash gives you unique visitor counts without ever identifying anyone.

Why this matters for your business

NeuTarget tracks your website visitors accurately without setting a single cookie. No consent popups, no compliance headaches, no visitor friction.

Literally zero cookies

Not first-party, not third-party, not 'essential' cookies that somehow track anyway. NeuTarget sets zero cookies on your visitors' browsers. Period.

No consent banner needed

Under GDPR, ePrivacy, and India's DPDP Act, cookie consent banners are required only when you set cookies or collect personal data. NeuTarget does neither.

Faster page loads

No consent management script to load (typically 30-80 KB). No cookie banner DOM elements. Your pages load faster and your Core Web Vitals improve.

More accurate data

30-40% of visitors reject cookies when shown a consent banner. With NeuTarget, you track 100% of visitors because there's nothing to consent to.

Daily-rotating visitor hash

Unique visitors are counted using a cryptographic hash of IP + User-Agent + a daily salt. The hash resets every 24 hours — no one can be tracked across days.

No persistent identifiers

No localStorage, no sessionStorage for tracking, no browser fingerprinting. Each visit is anonymized independently. There's no way to build a visitor profile.

How it works

1

Your visitor loads a page with NeuTarget's < 1 KB async script

2

The script sends a pageview event to NeuTarget's server with the page URL, referrer, user-agent, and screen size

3

The server creates a SHA-256 hash of the visitor's IP + User-Agent + a daily salt for unique visitor counting

4

The raw IP address is discarded immediately — it's never written to disk

5

The hash rotates at midnight UTC, making it impossible to track individuals across days

Frequently asked questions

How do you count unique visitors without cookies?

We use a cryptographic hash (SHA-256) of the visitor's IP address, User-Agent, and a daily salt. This gives us accurate daily unique counts without storing any identifiable information.

Is this as accurate as cookie-based analytics?

For daily metrics, yes. For multi-day returning visitor tracking, cookie-based tools have an edge. But since 30-40% of visitors reject cookies anyway, NeuTarget's total count is often more complete.

Do I need to update my cookie policy?

You can simplify it! If NeuTarget is your only analytics tool, your cookie policy can state that no analytics cookies are used. We even provide language you can copy.
